 !!!!  I really couldn't wait to get started on this. My eagerness probably helped me finish it as quick as I did, although I skimped a little on the two panels showing Jasmine's mother >> I've decided to work at a bigger size next time and then shrink it down, but I am quite proud of this seeing as it's all digital. My last all digital attempt at a comic was a sketchy mess. I think my favorite panel is the one in the very center of the page where Jasmine is half lit, it's the crispest of the page. Anyhoo, so this is just a little introduction to how Jasmine's home life was going before she got dragged off into an alien war.  Currently Jasmine is a little pissed at her mom (who recently checked her into a mental hospital and this is shortly after she was released again,) but she's also a bit grumpy in the mornings. She can get jealous of people who can actually sleep while she can't.The scribbling in the word bubbles is supposed to be her mumblings btw. Only three or four more pages to go, maybe five I don't have it quite planned out yet... <____> |
