When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

Based on the myth of the Death god Yama: [link] Name: Yama Personality:Yama is interesting in the fact that he is absolutely engrossed and enchanted by psychology. His habit originally started out as a general like for the mind of both humans and time ranges, but over the millennium, it has developed into a more specific interest; the reaction to death and failure. Death is his strongest interest, and he spends more time in the human world than most of the other councilors combined, attending funerals and deathbed and wars. He quickly noticed the trend humans have of assigning supernatural causes to death, and since has made deliberate attempts to show himself and spark such myths and gods. He is singlehandedly responsible for probably 70-80% of death god/creature myths, so he can observe their evolution and development. Since death is not very prevalent in the time rangers' realm, Yama has gotten as close as he can and experiments with failure. He is known even among the youngest rangers for being notoriously unreliable in plans, and even as a saboteur. He generally doesn't mess with Pandora's schemes, but he has been suspected to do so in such a way as being untraceable as the source of failure. He keeps a large book of his psychological observations on the other councilors and of the general human race. He wouldn't think to put his knowledge of the councilors/people/minds to use for good, but if prompted and given motive he might. A couple other personality quirks is his rather macabre sense of humor, and unreliability (his chair in the council is usually empty as he gallivants around watching death on the human world.) If a Ranger needs a psychological evaluation on his fitness for one thing or another, Yama is usually called in or at least supervises it, even interrupting some of his trips to earth. He seems to also feel no allegiance in particular to anyone, friends (or at least willing to help and not hostile) towards most council members despite their own personalities/ defects. Item of Power: Breathstealer (Noose) Breathstealer is the name Yama has fondly given the apparently normal length of rope tied into a noose he always has with him. By looping this around someone's neck (it does not need to be tightened) he can 'steal their breath.' This can take the literal form of suffocation, although he can only kill humans and low level rangers (not that he ever has Skin: He changes it more often than he changes his mood, but his favorite and most lasting color is a metallic blue-green Eyes: Range between copper and red Hair: Dark brown and curly Clothing: He prefers loose clothing of Indian or middle east influence, usually in the color red Distinctive Characteristics: It seems that for some reason, Yama naturally appears more boyish and young than the other councilors. He doesn't care in the slightest in the rangers realm, but when he travels to the human world he usually takes pains to make himself look formidable and threatening. ------- Ahahaha, I have no idea how well he fits into Yaarg, it took me sooooo long to get his skin to look metalic >.< and I don't think I pulled it off too well.
